Also, anybody here know of any philosophers (probably would be analytic) that have ever responded to the Sapir-Whorf hypothesis, or at least discussed the idea of linguistic relativity? The only person I know of is Donald Davidson and his discussion of conceptual schemes, but his writing seems extremely dense and difficult to interpret for me.
